Warhammer 40k FLYER EVENT
Point Value: * Any Warhammer 40k Flyer (Including Forgeworld legal Warhammer 40k)
Entry Fee: Flying vehicle purchased from phoenix in preparation for the event or If you are using a Forgeworld model have the real model or an awesome close conversion.

Event Itinerary:
3:00 Event Starts
4:00 Dog Fightz Begin
6:00 Event Officially ends

This event will consist of a painting/modelling contest and a gaming event. The painting contest will be decided by popular vote judged on a number of criteria consisting of creativity, Conversion, and paint job. 1 bonus point will be awarded if there is red somewhere on the model ,after all it is "DA RED BARON". The Gaming event will be similar to the Tanksgiving event held annually. Each player in random order will place his/her flyer on the table, each turn in random order the planes will dogfight in an attempt to kill as many enemy birds as possible. When you die your flyer will be placed back on the table in the next round. This event will last between 5-7 rounds determined randomly. The player with the most kills will be know as "DA RED BARON".

Prizes: Da red baron receives a special trophy and the Deff Skwadron graphic novel. The Winner of the hobby contest will receive a Flyer of his/her/its choice (not forgeworld).

This sounds cool, but there are so many questions.

1) What determines a flying vehicle? All skimmer or just the skimmers on the largest stand? (Valkyrie)

2) Does Phoenix sell Forgeworld?

3) Are you using Apocalypse rules for flyers?

4) If I go 7th I can have my vehicle killed off each round before I get to actually play it?

Got the answers from the tourney organizer:.

1) Only the skimmers on the largest stand (valkyrie)
2) We don't but we take orders for Forgeworld stuff. We usually order every 3 weeks.
3)We will use normal 40k rules for it.
4) The turns are randomly determined every round. So you may go 7th in the first round, but when you die your jet returns at board edge of your choice on your turn so it doesn't matter.
