Hey all!

I'm getting a full 500pts Necron army, and wanted to hear your opinion on this setup:

HQ:
Illuminor Szeras

Elites:
5x Deathmarks

Troops:
10x Warriors
5x Immortals + Tesla Carbines

Fast Attack
2x Canoptek Wraiths + Whip Coils
________
500pts

If you think something needs to be changed, please comment.

My suggestion would be that 2 wraiths wont do too much and if you can fit an annihilation barge in there they work great at low point games.

So you suggest an Annihilation Barge instead of the Wraiths? Tesla or Gauss Cannons?

As far as the barges go, use Gauss. There's no penalty for moving. As far as the list, drop the wraiths and add an Anni barge. I would seriously consider dropping the Deathmarks for a squad of immortals.

Maybe this list:

Destroyer Lord w/ Warscythe, MSS

5 Immortals tesla carbine
5 Immortals tesla carbine
5 Immortals tesla carbine

Hmmm, alright, but i would really like to keep some warriors (because i have some already, and they would go to waste otherwise). So how does this sound:


Overlord (With max 20pts upgrades)

5x Immortals
5x Immortals
10x Warriors

Annihilation Barge

At this point value, it's really hard to put in crucial foot support units like Lords w/ Res Orbs, etc. I suggested the destroyer lord because he's T6 and there isn't a lot of stuff that can hurt him at 500 pts, plus he's a brute to light vehicles. The Immortals are going to be able to move and take objectives, as well as dole out arcs of tesla fire all over the field, as with the annihilation barge. Warriors are just kind of meh without support. I don't want to hijack your list, I just want you to maximize the 500 pts. YMMV.
