So after a string of victories at 1k I have finally taken the plunge and upped the list to 1.5k. I cannot do much with the weapon loadout on the Dreads and the Predators as the Guiding light of the Emperor saw fit to bless the crusade with these holy weapons (points are tight plus the previous owner must have used ceramite to bond the sponsons - honestly it'll rip the thing in half trying to swap them out.)

So I have two 'dedicated' combat squads joined by the EC and Marshal effectively. I also now seem to have mastered the use of rerolls in combat (keeping down the kills to stay in combat in my turn to wipe him out in his to get the next assault off without having to stand in the middle of nowhere and get shot to pieces. ) I have also removed the PFists in both squads as most walkers tend to be pulverised early and people seem to be wary of my Crusader Squads (as it should be) and typically don't try and tarpit me.
The Typoons have yet to last an entire battle, such is the fear that these warmachines cause my opponents fear them as the rightful wrath of the Emperor himself (word gets around)
I figured that the marshall and the Preds as well as a second dred are obvious to include at this point level and make my shooting phase something to dread (pun intended- the GW manager actively targets the ven dread as often as inhumanely possible, which amuses me) so two should give him a fright
