I've been looking at starting a FOW and was wondering what to start with.

I'm wanting to start a German tank army that would be comprise mainly of Stugs and perhaps Jagdpanzers.

Just wondering what I should get first.

I'm wanting a fun list mostly but any tips on what a good list is will be great help.

As I see it, you've got a couple options - either the StuG Batterie from Grey Wolf, or the StuG Abteilung from Earth & Steel. Grey Wolf is the Eastern Front Late War Book, while E&S is the Invasion of Normany book.

I'd suggest you head over to Easy Army and pick up either one (or both!) of the books, as they're very cheap.

Then head on over to the Plastic Soldier Company for their StuG Company Deal which will get you 15 StuG III G's at a fraction of the price of Battlefront's tanks!

Will look at getting those books thanks for the advice infinite_array.

Is there any difference in scale from FOW and the Plastic Soldier Company models?

Well, yes and no.

Make sure you're getting the 15mm models (in black boxes) and not the 1/72 (20mm) miniatures in red boxes.

Apart from that, there's no real size difference between Battlefront minis and PSC stuff.
