hey guys, I've never really had the time to work on an army and I usually give up half way. So I've decided to really go for it this summer (I'm not traveling as much) and I'm hoping some dakka encouragement every day will help keep me on track. For my army I decided to go with chaos space marines centered around Khorne. So far I have bought two berserker squads, 1 chaos space marine squad, 1 rhino and 1 chaos lord. It also seems I have been out of the loop and it seems a new chaos codex is fast approaching which might make purchasing and modeling for a wysiwyg army difficult down the road. I've got one of my squads looking pretty and I am happy with the work I've done so far. Hopefully I can post some pictures tonight.

For now though I was hoping to get some paint scheme/chapter names for my army's background. So far all I know is that I want them to be world eater-ery. The zerkers are being painted red and gold using the recommended khorne colours from the new painting book. I was thinking of doing the same for the csm squad but wanted to make them stand out a little from their more blood crazed brothers. Thanks for all your help in advance guys. Also if you want to reccomend colours please describe them in terms of the new paint range as that's the only way I'll understand

I came up with this color scheme when I was thinking of playing Chaos. I eventually went with Space Wolves instead, so it wasn't of any use to me. http://bolterandchainsword.com/csm.php?bpe=FFECC1&bpj=FFECC1&bp=FFECC1&bpc=FFECC1&bpn=FFECC1&hdt=FFECC1&hrn=FFECC1&hdm=FFECC1&hdl=FFECC1&ey=FF0000&er=FFECC1&pi=FFECC1&nk=FFECC1&ch=FFECC1&abs=FFECC1&bt=FFECC1&btd=FFE83D&cod=FFECC1&ull=FFECC1&lll=FFECC1&lft=FFECC1&url=FFECC1&lrl=FFECC1&rft=FFECC1&slt=FFE83D&sli=C90000&srt=FFE83D&sri=C90000&ula=FFECC1&lel=FFECC1&lla=FFECC1&lh=FFECC1&ura=FFECC1&rel=FFECC1&rla=FFECC1&rh=FFECC1&ri=FFFFFF&tr=FFE83D&bg=FFFFFF&rb=000000&gr=FFFFFF& Basically, a bone color armor (I haven't experimented with the new bones, so work around with them), deep red shoulders and minor highlights and gold trim. I don't know if that's something you'd care to try out, but it's on the table. It should work out pretty well with the current color scheme without being so far off as to look unusual. Good luck.

It's an ugly planet. A bug planet.
