Ok, so i live in the Tonbridge area of Kent, and my local GW is becoming a bit dull and controlling. I figured that a new place to game and a new crowd of people would revitalise my hobby and get me out of this real gaming dry-spell. Wanting to take a look at warmachine as well, so i obviously need to find somewhere else to game, as i don't think they will take kindly to me bringing in a few jacks and looking for a game or warmahordes

I'm looking for a club that is open mostly during the day, though i can do evenings, and isn't looking for members that are going to be around all the time (boarding school keeps me away from my hobby for a good portion of the year). It should preferably be within 40mins drive if possible.

Does anyone know of/run such a club??

I live around Sidcup and I only know clubs within London and south-eastern side (bromley etc)

I don't know any clubs in between Tonbridge and Sidcup, but I love to be a part of it if you can find one.

i think any clubs in my area would be quite a bit further away from you than any london clubs.

Animosity - In the Discordia System

We're hosting a 40K narrative campaign weekend and we're inviting as many dakka users, gamers and clubs as possible!

Just seen this post so I don't know if you are still looking for clubs/games.

Anyway, there is a club near Maidstone called A20 Gamers, couple of guys I know have been down and said it was a pretty relaxed/good club from their experience so far. Not sure which games they do. You should be able to find contact info with a quick google search.

Also for a change of location/faces GW in Maidstone, bit of a transition going on at the mo .. Looking like they are trying to do a Fantasy night wednesdays and 40K night Thursdays. You might also be able to arrange day games you'd have to give them a buzz/nip down and chat etc

I have just found a small group of players near to home, but I am also looking for other possible opponents for 40K. Don't know if the drive would be further than you'd currently like I'm based in Minster

The Hydra Gaming Club, which occurs every thursday evening from 6.30 (ish) at the high brooms working mens club. Play Warhammer, 40K, Bloodbowl, Magic. Anythign is a possibility.

Yeah, i know the hydra guys personally. but unfortunately their times are a little late for my purposes, and with no way of getting to and from the club without the help of parents (damn the british driving age), I can't make it to them :(
