This has only just started happening for me, and only on Dakka. I have run virus checks, cleared my caches, cookies and all that, but I still get this message.

Occasionally, when I click the "skip to first unread" button, or the "submit" button on the quick reply box, I get a grey windows pop up saying

---

You have chosen to open

292741.page

which is a: page file
from: http://www.dakkadakka.com

What should firefox do with this file?

Open
Save

---

I have no idea why I'm getting this. It's weird that I've seen anyone else report it, so think it must be my laptop, but then equally it only happens on Dakka?

Chances are the mime type is getting removed somewhere along the line. .page is just the extension our forum software uses in place of html, so some proxy servers can make things go a bit odd. Unfortunately it is a configuration issue on your end or at your ISP which I am unable to fix. I've not seen the problem happen with anyone else so if you figure out a way to resolve it then please update here so I know what to recommend in the future.

Check out our new, fully plastic tabletop wargame - Maelstrom's Edge, made by Dakka!

That'll be beyond my technical ability I guess... I'll run some basic, control panel, checks; my worry was that it was a virus of some sort so thanks for putting me at ease on that
