Hi

Quick question whats the official base size for large monsters. I've been thinking of making a team up but have no idea what base to use for my Yetti.

Cheers

Edit: also round or square?

Formerly 40mm square, nowadays 40mm round. Given that the game is grid-based, base size matters only for passing and interceptions (neither of which Blood Bowl's big guys often do) anyway.

As English Assassin said, 40mm bases.

However "in game" they still occupy one square so nothing too large and or "over-hanging" or setting up your "big guy" could prove problematic.

Mainly found in the LOTR section.....

I very well could be wrong, but we always played our big guys as if they took up 2x2 squares.

That would indeed be wrong... Big Guys, no matter what the size take up one space... Impact! Miniatures makes some excellent 30mm bases that work great for "big guys". Most Blood Bowlers tend to look for big guys that are fairly "cylindrical" and don't hang way over the base anyway, so 30mm's really help with spacing and maneuvering...
