So, i have been trying to make a kind of miniature-based boardgame, or rather, several.
The game called Orrica Underground is one of them.
I'm unsure where to start describing it ... so i jus write what comes along, i guess.

It can be played with regular Space Marines in Power Armor, and Hormagaunts, Termagants, and Genestealers, but some Tyranid conversions is neccesary.
However, there are several "Character-Officers" that can be converted forth, and all in all, it may invite to conversions.
Important!:
Even though mainly or only WH40K-based miniatures are used for Orrica Underground, the game itself is NOT set in WH40K, and the Space Marine miniatures do in this case instead represent soldiers from Astra Force.
Astra force is not so much "Defenders of humanity" as they are "Defenders of Peace".
Yes, they are "cheesy" like that.
However, they are no wussies, even though they aim to incapacitate, and not to kill.

In the below picture, all in the two top rows can be used in Orrica.

Now to the idea behind the rules system, which is generally dubbed "Streed":
The idea is originally inspired by the Original Space Hulk Game + its expansions, and Advanced Space Crusade, and its principle is easily summed up like this:
One Attack = One Die Roll.
Example:
A regular Astra Force Officer shoots at a Shlaa (the "genestealers" ) rolls a D12 +1 ... and get 8 +1.
The shlaa has Armor 8, but the roll is 8+1=9, meaning one more than the armor, so the damage goes through.
The shlaa has only one health, so it is downed.

The game is rather intended, currently, to be played with a Gamesmaster, rather than competitive.

Also, as you may guess, the tyranid-looking ones in that world is not the great devourers of WH40K, but they are an intelligent species, that is usually divided into "the good, the conquering, the pirates, and the ones for hire".

Since i have no idea how to continue this post now, i instead ask for the impressions that you readers of this post get.

Was once trying to make a 2D action-strategy scroller based on a mix of WH40K & MLP FiM .... but is no longer.
