So I just submitted my portfolio to Fantasy Flight to hopefully do some art for them, but I was wondering if any of you guys/gals in here could give me a lead on some other popular Sci-Fi/Fantasy books that are filled with good art that I should target to send my stuff to as well.

I've been looking around RPG.net, but that site is like a Tzeenchian Labryinth; figured it would be much smarter to hit up the communities I am part of and ask for suggestions

Thanks in advance.

Also was looking to send stuff to Privateer Press, but I can't figure out if they do freelance work or not.

Per Manchu, here is a direct link to my portfolio as well : http://www.galefire.com

You may want to post some of your art so we get an idea of where to direct you. Assuming you created your avatar, I'd say your skills would be better appreciated by AEG and Green Ronin than say Goodman Games or Frog God Games.

I updated the post with a direct link to my portfolio in case people have sigs turned off, will check out those names let me know if you think of any more.

Probably will stop by the local hobby shop and take a look at some books as well to try and find names of companies.

Is AEG the Thunderstone thing? Do they have a company page for submissions somewhere I'm not seeing?

Edit: doh, blind. found it.

Eh, I could probably do stuff in the vein of Goodman/Frog God, although I certainly can't find anywhere to submit my portfolio to them other than the regular contact form.

Trust me I'd love to go this year, but I am going to get married in Costa Rica; and that is pretty much all of my extra money this year

I will probably try to go in the future though.

Dang, looks like goodman-games isn't even accepting submissions at this time.

Alright I submitted to AEG and Green Ronin, then sent an email to Frog about submissions, since they don't actually have anything on their site about it.

Any more guys?

Great looking portfolio.

Amazing looking stuff!!!!

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.

Well guys I sent my portfolio to several places, including Catalyst games(Battletech and Shadowrun); got a very good response from the Art Director there

If I'm lucky I'll be doing some Shadowrun and Battletech art in the near future.

Still hoping to hear back from FFG, would love to work on their Warhammer books!
