Rounding out building pre-heresy thousand sons themed Grey Knights. I realize this isn't exactly unique or original. But I have to look at them every time I play, and this is my favorite theme. Plus building egyptian terrain is fun too.

That's a great red mate, and the terrain is coming along well too.

What else are you adding to the army?

Thanks, thats really only a primer base of black and army painter dragon red to help with highlights and color blending.

That army is fabulous. The bases work really well, the only thing that is my pet peeve is the heads from some company.
They're very overused and are very "samey" can't wait to see the army fully painted!

I've seen lots of pre-heresy dreadnaughts as of late

Thanks guys. Yes, the helmets do get used a lot, but they look the part. I've had enough fun repositioning and converting the FW resin and other details to try and personalize every helm as well. Good on those that do. =D
This is my painting inspiration for these guys, while I doubt I'll reach Mr. Fontaines level, it's good to have goals!
