Hey you good people of Dakka.

To try and inspire myself into painting a roughly 2,500 point Blood Angel force over the next two months, I thought i'd blog my progress on here every so often and offer tutorials on anything within my capabilities ( normally it takes me a month to finish a model!)

I find red one of the biggest pains to paint, so I decided to cheat a bit and buy a spray can from halfords (who's spray paint range is legendary!) and basecoat them all in what used to be the mechrite red foundation. I'll also be attempting various different effects like blending throughout the army; i'd only tried it once or twice before and haven't exactly mastered it yet I'll also be blogging the painting of a commission Space Wolves army which includes many awesome figures from 1st, 2nd and 3rd edition - hoping this will draw in more customers

The models are all either recently purchased ones I got from my FLGS, old ones i haven't been bothered to paint strip, or ones i've traded with people on this very forum.

I'm going for a snow theme across the bases, and if i end up include a contemptor dreadnought, i'll make him a special lil' ice base. I'd love to get C&C as this will only help me improve!

Pics will be up later today folks!

Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit, but Wisdom is knowing not to put it in a fruit salad.
