So, looking at moving in a years time or so and was looking for shops in the Tacoma area (or nearby). Would love if I could find employment at said shop - because gaming is my life.

Any ideas? What is a good shop for 40K, Dust, and Warmahordes?

I lived in Lacey, which is about a 15 min drive from Tacoma and Olympic Cards and Comics is absolutely awesome, lots of 40k players on the weekends, fair amount of warmahordes too, and a really friendly staff. The owner, Gabby is really great and runs a tight ship. As far as employment I know they are expanding and hire every now and then but not sure on that. I know there is a GW store that is actually a great shop, Patrick, who was the manager when I went there is really cool, but don't know if he's still there, that is right in the middle of Tacoma, but haven't been there in a while.

Hope this helps

Edit: OCC above was also starting a dust league when I moved north so I think it was starting to pick up.
