Okay so I am working to build a borg Cube for a Star Trek Heroclix scenario.

I'm going to put it on a colossal base with the 26 clixs, I'm gonna use clix 1 - 25. The goal is to make it like the hulk where it gets easier to hit but it gets stronger in terms of damage output and damage resistance with plenty of regenerate tossed into the mix.

I am also considering a special ability I have chosen to call Incapacitating Strike, it's goal is similar to the way the cube trashed the Saratoga in the opening scene of Star Trek DS9 or the way it messed up those 3 little ships on the Jupiter/Mars defense perimeter in Best of Both Worlds. The ability reads as follows "In addition to Damage dealt give this target an action token. If the target avoids the damage from a Special Power or Ability it still takes an action token. If the hit was a critical hit the target takes two action tokens."

Is that too over the top or about right? I figure the Borg hit the ship so hard the crew is tossed about and spends more time regaining their feet, getting power back on line, panicking a bit, and just reeling from the massive damage or casualties that it takes them a few moments to regroup before they can act again.

Who has some familiarity with this specific Heroclix version that might be able to give me some pointers on the dial? I have plenty of ideas but need some refinement.

Depends on what particular part of the time line you are trying to represent.

The Wolf 359 (first Borg battle) time should have it as essentially invincible.

The time after Voyagers return would have Starfleet able to hold its own fairly well against a lone Cube, as Voyager brought back advanced weapons and knowledge about the Borg.

Any time in between those would vary quite a bit. One thing to remember about the Heroclix ST ships is most of them are "hero" ships and captains representing skills and abilities far above regular ships of the line. That being said I would make the Cube tough, but not too much so.

Okay. I was thinking more along the lines of Wolf 359, I even considered making 10 of the 26 defense clix of impervious.

It should be pretty much invincible in that case. IMO it would not be a fun scenario at all. The ships of that era were all but unable to cause any damage. Thats if your trying to be "realistic" so to speak. What I would do is tailor the stats to the ships it will be fighting against. Find out what your friends are going to use and set your Cube stats to match.

I can do that to a degree. A big combo for low point games is the Defiant the Equinox and the Montgolfier which is quite a potent combo in terms of how much damage the defiant can then put out.
