Passing by on my way home from shopping last night, I spied a place selling games that had a Warhammer sign in the window. I'd passed it a couple of weeks ago but wasn't able to find them on the web, so I assumed they just sold Monopoly and Risk so I'd forgotten about them till I happened to be looking out the car window again last night and saw the "Warhammer" sign.

Stopped in and had a chat to the Owner. Nice guy called Ian who has just opened up. He stocks GW, Flames of War, various boardgames from FFG, etc, Reaper Miniatures. I skipped the GW stuff, so I bought a pile of Reaper figs and some Liquid Greenstuff. And only now I remembered I need to find out if GW still sell Devlan Mud or an equivalent.

Anyway, the place is called KayJays Games. Address is 83 Rosamond Road, Maidstone.

Google Maps link - it's the old Milk Bar in the pics.

Prices are standard RRP for Australia. I won't buy GW locally but I don't mind paying a little more on small things to support a FLGS - especially one just around the corner! He said he's working on some kind of customer incentive system to help build a community and clientele as well as running card and gaming tournaments. He was talking about running a local FoW tourney at some point soon(ish). I might have to find out if my DAK force is still legal since it's 2 editions behind at the moment. I told him about Dakka, so hopefully he'll register and say hello at some stage.
