What would you add?
Heres mine,
Enslavers 7th edition - Enslavers has launched a major invasion in imperium space, destroying over a dozen chapters and infesting countless planets. Many deadly new forms of enslavers has been discovered with this recent invasion in the 42k. The floating ball form is just one type of enslavers, they now have many types of combat forms that varies in size, power, and appearance. These malevolent warp xenos are beginning to appear in massive numbers in the mid 42k and we fear that they may become one of the most dangerous threats to the galaxy.
Orks 7th edition - Ork Warbosses that had led many waaaaghs are called Waaaagh Lords, they are much bigger and more powerful than warbosses. Only waaaaagh lords known are Ghazghkull and Gorgutz. Waaaagh Lords also commands a huge empire with orks that are at least 15 foot tall. All orks now use guns, no more primitive melee orks but of course they would still punch their targets if they get close enough.
Necron 7th edition - The Silent King has united 1/5 of all the necron dynasties and has named themselves the Triarch and would only fight if they have to. 1/5 of another necron faction called the Akulakhans has a ambition to conquer and attack other races, including the Triarch. 1/5 of yet another necron faction are mindless machines that does not talk and can't be reasoned with, some say they are being led by a C'tan Shard, they are called the Reapers and they would attack anything that is not them. The Triarch and Akulakhans are trying to find the remaining 2/5 of the necron dynasties.
Daemon 7th edition - The Daemons are split into 2 major factions, one that supports the chaos space marine/chaos followers and would aid them in battle. The other daemon faction called the World Breakers are daemons that hates chaos space marines and even daemon princes, to them anything that isn't a pure daemon are weak and are of no use to them. They would attack chaos space marines, daemon princes and even other daemons that supports them. These daemons are being led by a council containing 4 powerful greater daemons of the chaos gods and 2 other unknown greater daemons that is not part of the big 4, rumor says the council itself is mastered minded by a very very powerful being. The world breakers cost terror and fear when they invade the materium, nothing is safe from them, not even chaos space marines and other daemons.
C'tans 7th edition - The Outsider has consumed many C'tan Shards outside the galaxy, numbers are unknown but we think its over 600 shards.
Umbra 7th edition - The Umbra wants to take revenge on Slannesh for making him linger. Its goal is to hurt Slannesh's influences in the materium by searching and killing Slaanesh's followers and daemons. Anything in its way also gets kill.
Tyranids 7th edition - Hive fleets seen so far are just tiny splinters from a tendril of a massive fleet which itself is also a tendril of a even more massive fleet which yet again is also a small tendril of the hive mind monster which is the size of a galaxy which is also a small part of the MASS which is the coming from outside the universe. Also the MASS is rumored to actually be running away from something.
Before you post your version of the 7th edition fluff, please rate mine from 1 to 10.

Sounds like you left necrons almost the same.
You want bigger orks.
Umbra suddenly have a goal.
And you'd like to see the return of Malal?

All I will say is thank goodness that you don't work at Games Workshop, a lot of this stuff doesn't really make sense or would just tick a lot more people off

Malal got face-eaten. Malice might as well be face-eaten. Rivalries between the Chaos Gods is part of the Great Game, having a rival faction of unaligned daemons doesn't really change that in any significant manner, as these are just going to be pawns of a Lesser Power who simply doesn't have the raw might of one of the Great Four.
Me? I'd shake things up a bit by building up tensions between various factions where a given faction has 1 Nemesis, 1 Hated Foe, and then everything else being Allies, Allies of Opportunity, Targets of Opportunity or just Neutral.
So, for example, the Imperial Guard would have the Tyranid as its Nemesis, the Orks as its Hated Foe, the SOB and SM as Allies, Eldar and Tau as Allies of Opportunity, Chaos (in all its flavors) as Targets of Opportunity, and DE and Necrons as "Neutral". This isn't to say that the IG don't fight these things, just that these are enemies not often seen in mass combat and so the faction really hasn't formed an opinion either way about them.
... mind you, this breakdown is still in the stages of being early thoughts following a night of heavy drinking, so plans may change.

It is best to be a pessimist. You are usually right and, when you're wrong, you're pleasantly surprised. |

This. I am largely content with the current fluff. Perhaps the only thing I would really change is the threat that chaos seems to be (make them an actual galactic threat instead of raiders who occasionally launch a large invasion of the imperium), while making the Nids seem less like a galactic threat (probably just change the "theories" about the nids, like the worst is yet to come, but they aren't a threat that has already eaten a dozen galaxies and will inevitably win). So yeah, Chaos is the big bad again and the Nids and 'Crons are still threatening, but defeating them isn't outright impossible.

Looking at the timeline in the 6E book, it seems as if this is exactly what happened. It basically stops at "zomg Abbadon is here, we're all gonna die", with thousands of psykers going mad as the 13th Black Crusade rolls out of the EoT.
Seems as if the worldwide campaign's result has been nullified, as far as GW continuity is concerned.
[edit]What I'd add to 7E? A few wins for the Sororitas, including the purge of the Flesh Tearers. Oh, and an Inquisitorial investigation into the Space Wolves Chapter. Obviously, the SW couldn't possibly be affected by anything given their sacrosanct status, but I can at least mention how Imperial resistance against their ongoing shenanigans grows.
