So has anyone of you bought the new 40k rulebook? Well if not, you are definitely missing out. This new book is literally 432 pages chock full of new fluff and amazing new rules. However, there are a few things that worry me. Firstly, is that there are a lot of new special rules that don't apply to any of the current codexes and armies, which means we are missing out on a lot of the new rules and benefits. Secondly, the fact that now we have to wait for all the new codexes of all the armies to arrive so we can play the new fluff and rules. Well thats enough about what is bad. Now I will say a few great things about this new book ! Lets start off with all the great new playing scenarios and terrain rules! Games Workshop has taken the liberty to come up with maybe over 8 new scenarios and 6 of them are compatible to create a whole campaign ! Some of the missions and battle scenarios include Purge The Alien, The Relic, and Big Guns Never Tire. I'll leave you to find out what they are about! Next I'll tell you about the terrain and landscape rules. As you already know, there is Difficult and Dangerous Terrain, but now there is Lethal Terrain, Impassable Terrain (you already knew that), Open Terrain, and much much more. Secondly you can classify many pieces of terrain not only into the types of terrains but in things like Relic, Impact Crater, Battlefield Debris, Tanglewire, Shrine to Chaos, Comms Relay, and more! Well thats it for now. But before I'm done I would just like to say GW did a fantastic job on this book, with many beautiful and detailed illustrations, huge amounts of deep fluff, great miniature showcases and so much more. Goodbye!
