I think it's considered to be better than the first, but still not so great.

It wasn't bad. I preordered it a while back. The guilds are bland, and the story's pretty weak and doesn't make sense in some parts. Was miles better than the first, but that's not saying much. beat the whole game in about 40 hours. It's really just an ok game to scratch your Fantasy itch, assuming you're bored to tears with Skyrim, Witcher 2 and Dragon's Dogma.

It's definately not a 60 dollar game, but I would prolly pick it up for 7.

That's the problem (or the greatness?) of Steam sales. The game might be kinda meh...but it's also less than ten bucks.

I know it's kinda late but my two cents.

I didn't get far into the single player part of the game, but if you really like this type of RPG (see youtube gameplay videos) then you'll likely like this.

The multiplayer part was fun, multiplayer makes anything more fun, but it's a totally different story though and more linear. I played as a summoning mage and my friend a archer which worked really well. Building your own town was really neat too (see guide online how to do it well) but it's only good for melee gera, cash income and chicken eggs (I'm serious) then gets real old when you finish.

Overall if it looks really good to you then give it a try.
