I will traveling to Chattanooga pretty soon with my family. My wife has never been to the South and I want her to try some good old Southern cooking. Any recommendations of a restaurant in the area for great Southern food. Also any recommendations for a Soul food place and Barbeque place would be appreciated.

This doesn't sound like a soul food place. it sounds like a titty bar.

Everywhere I'm not supposed to be.

I had pretty good luck just going to any restaraunt off the river. I went down there a few years ago planning on spending a week or so, ended up staying for about a month. It's probably the most entertaining city I've ever been to.

If you need me, I'll be busy wiping the layers of dust off my dice.

There are a bunch of Really great BBQ places in Tennessee, Unfortunately they are all near Memphis which s clear across the state.

I hear Bones Smokehouse is pretty good:

But I hear that Hillbilly Willys is a little better that Bones.
