Hello there,

This is my first post on Dakka, but i have been lurking and reading here for a while, and i have seen some very helpful posts, especially in relation to orks. So i hoped the dakka community could help me out

I really want to include Old Zogwort rulewise in my army, but not as the feral ork freebooter. So first a bit about my army. They have allied with chaos space marines, in a campaign to kill beakies. (the orks have various looted Black Templar, dark angel and other chapters stuff, from power armour shoulder pads, to cloaks, to vindicators. I'm still in the progress of deciding between the Thousand Sons or the Death Guard. The followers of Tzeentch could be a logical choice, as they are known for coming up with devious plans to cause chaos and mayhem, and sending orks trough the warp to places where Space Marines are fighting, and occasionally lending some psychic might to the ork Warband of Dakka Masta Grug (my Big Mek leader with SAG). On the other hand the Death Guard are Green and Tough, just like the orks. And then the attacks on the Space Marines are from the Orks themselves, who are followers of Mork, but aswell of Gork. The warband wears purple clothing (still figuring out a reason for that.. was thinking more protection against chaos or the orks thinks it makes them smarter.

Now on to the real question. Old Zogwort. My version would be nearly the same, but not being a feral ork any longer. And he does not have a nest of vipers with him. But what does he have with him? atm i made an ork nog, with a fancy stickstave, with a bald fist and open mouth. The fist will get a fire around it as to immitate waagh energy. But how can i represent the Nest of Vipers? i was thinking the familiar from the Chaos Lord Terminator set, which attacks enemies, but not sure. So i hoped the Dakka community could help me out with this.

Thanks in advance

Poisonous squigs? Toxic gas sprayer on his staff? Venomous pigs carrying his bags? Or just make the staff look extra impressive.

If allied with chaos, then he ought to have a daemon. A nurgling if you go with deathguard.
