Hello all ... been reading dakka off and on for the last several years and finally decided to make an account and stop trolling ...

The name is Nate, and I live in beautiful Southern California. I started playing 40k right as 2nd edition rolled into 3rd edition so 97-98. Played for almost 10 years in which I amassed 3100 points of Space Wolves and 800 points worth of Tau. Not a lot of that is painted, about half the Space Wolves. Helped my buddy build and paint about 1750 points worth of his Valhallan IG. Went to Games Day Baltimore in the first few years of 2000s until I graduated college and got married.

I got stationed in Okinawa for almost 4 years, and had an unsympathetic wife (now ex wife) at the time so my playing pretty much stopped for the last 7. With the release of 6th edition I want to get back into and I have a girlfriend that's cool with it. So I bought the battle box for Imperial Guard this past week and started putting them together. Goals right now are to build up an IG army and continue paiting my SWs.

Painting skills aren't 'Eavy Metal or Golden Daemon worthy, I do all right. I've made some attempts at Green Stuff sculpting as well.
