Hello Dakka. I've recently decided to throw all my money at little plastic men and play 40k.
My question is this. When someone posts an army list and it goes like 20boyz, 2 big shootas, 1 nob PK bosspole....is that in essence 23 models? or is it 17 boys 2 big shootas and a nob to make 20?

Generally it'll be 20 total. Otherwise they'll either say or everyone else will misunderstand as well, so no worries. Oh, and hi.

The other bits are listed upgrades to the total number unless listed as:
Ork Mob
Nob
2 big shootas
20 Boyz
But then trhe total number would be listed next to the first line (Ork Mob)
