I've been painting and sometimes playing since '97.
I started with High Elves, then moved on to a Khorne 40k army... which then shifted to full on World Eaters when GW came out with the specific rules for full berserker armies.
Now I'm working on the complete 2nd Company of the Doom Eagles chapter of marines.
A few years ago I was given a large number of Marines painted up as Dark Angels, along with a number of OOP terminators, scouts, Dark Angels characters, dreadnought, land speeder, etc... then I came across a store getting rid of Rhinos, Predators and Razorbacks before the new (current) design came out...
So... yeah, I had a bunch to work with and started up the Castrol SuperClean paint remover factory and dug in.
As it stands now I have 3 of the 10 squad sergeants painted (a couple more to buy or convert), 3 tac squads painted - one squad missing backpacks, 1 assualt squad painted - minus jump packs, 2 devastator squads painted (minus sergeants).
I've finished a converted Dark Angels "shooty" OOP metal dreadnought with Doom Eagles iconography and a test Rhino for vehicle paint scheme.
Enough of the WIP intro post, I'll leave it at that and "Hi" and be done.
