Hey guys and dolls, I'm really interested in doing something cool in the 6mm range and am looking for suggestions. I really am a sucker for theme, oddity, and/or good campaign rules. Not a huge fan of wwII games. And suggestions would be awesome. Cheers!

Those are the ones I know about. There is a altenative miniature thread somewhere on DakkaDakka. I will go for a look.

There is a guy putting together an impressive set of units for use with the Armor Grid: Mech Attack rules available Here., using Battleforce scale mechs from Iron Wind and some other companies' models for troops and vehicles. You can see all about it on the Mech Attack forums, Here![

What Genre are you looking for. Future War Commander is a pretty good game for Sci-Fi. It uses the well established Warmaster command activation mechanic and has a ton of included force lists to cover just about any army you could think of.

We use it for 10mm (It's made for anything from 6-15mm) sci Fi. It's great for large battles and we use Mech Attack for smaller skirmishes.

If you do go the Mech Attack Route, I've statted up a bunch of sample mech stats here:

Dirtside is a bit dated, but it has a respectable following and you should at least take the time to give it a look since it's free.

For a really quick playing ruleset, check out Panzer 8. It's a free simple ruleset that has variants for quite a few different settings, including Sci-Fi. We'll be giving it a go next week at out club meeting, but I haven't had a chance to try it out yet.
