Ok... Me and my girlfriend like to take out 3DS along with us when we go out to eat and usually play Mario kart. We got Mario kart 7 but it has one HUGE flaw for that type of situation, you can't pause it. The whole reason we got 3DSs was for mario kart 7 and this has been a huge issue for us. We could always go back to plain old mario kart DS but that game has gotten a little stale after playing the hell out of it.

So... any recomendations for a kart style racer that does have a pause in multi player on the DS or later? We prefer stuff that trends more towards fun than realistic. Nothing like gran turismo or forza please.

I don't think there is such a thing as a cart racer you can pause in multi player, unless you are playing splitscreen on a console... sorry bout that.

True. You can't pause wireless multiplayer on anything lately.
