Hi All

Help needed! Looking through the rules for dreadfleet and readying about the damage dealt when running aground seems to be mirky at best (to me anyways!). It states that once you have run aground you stop and draw damage cards until you get a hull damage card then apply it and discard the rest. Can someone help me with the expanation of this?

Does this mean that you can get a huge amount of speed reducing cards etc. then a hull card - get rid of the speed ones and deal with the hull one?

Or does it mean that you draw and apply all of the cards until hull comes up meaning that you are very worse for wear?

Or does that mean you draw and apply cards until you can escape jeopardy (perhaps before a hull one comes) and deal with the other cards?

Please help!

Cheers
Andy

It's option A, draw cards and ignore them unless they're a hull damage.

Does cycle through the damage deck quite quickly.

Brilliant thanks for that! But one question I still have, do you draw the cards and remain stuck? Or can you escape jepordy during drawing the card?

Thanks for the help!

Pretty sure that you draw cards until you're actually damaged, i.e. no, you can't draw a speed card (say) and attempt to escape jeopardy and keep making escape attempts in the hope you get loose before you're damaged. Once you hit the rocks, your hull is going to get battered!
