I read the mission packet, but didn't see a clear indicator: Will the mission objectives markers also be "mysterious objectives"?

- Craftworld Kai-Thaine
- Task Force Defiance 36
- Sunwolves Great Company
- 4th Company Imperial Fists
- Hive Fleet Scylla - In progress

Go ahead and put me down. I'm looking forward to this, at least I can read the packet to prepare...still haven't found anyone to play against down here (although there is a store).

The only question I have is where is the BBQ from?

I'll throw my hat in for this one just because of the cause.

Casper, where are you located at in S.C.? May head your way to give you a game or you could come here to Augusta.

Aiken, I know where a store is in Augusta but have only been down there once. I'll make a trip down there again at some point.

Good deal, I think we may have met before but I'm not sure. Next time you plan on heading down, let me know and I'll let you know if we have anything going on.

Those are interesting missions. Twitch likes to make it painful on us sometimes. Looking forward to them.

These missions are awesome, and this looks like a great event. I wish I could make it.

I have a question about mission number 3. The marked for death objective says that for destroying one marked for death unit you get 5 points, for destroying two marked for death units you get 5 points, and for destroying 3 marked for death units you get 15 points. Is this correct? It seems like destroying 2 units would award 10 points. Just checking.

You are correct. You will get 5 points for killing one marked for death unit, 10 for killing two, and 15 for killing all three.

Hi Twitch! Just registered for the tourney...thanks for hosting! I do have a few questions:

1) Will "40k Approved" Forgeworld be allowed?
2) Is there a max size for the display base?

Thanks and will see you in a few weeks!

Hey everyone,

We are a few days out from the tourney and I want to clarify some of the questions I have gotten. We have 20+ people already signed up and we have space for 30 people. The only way you are guaranteed to play is if you sign up and there 30 or less players. We will make every accomodation possible for more players but there arent any guarantees. Be there at 830am!!!! Dice roll at 9.

1) Forgeworld rules of any type are not allowed. You may use a Forgeworld model as a substitute of an appropriate codex model.

2) No max size for display bases. (Will have to rethink this one if someone brings in a car full of orks or something).

3) In the Marked for Death Mission, you will choose your scoring/Marked for Death units at the END of deployment. Reserves, combat squads, characters joining units, etc will already be done before choosing your scoring/marked for death units.

4) Choosing table sides/deployment zone/going first will be decided how it is stated in the rulebook. Missions will be modified to reflect this.

Thanks!

Why yes it was BBQ chicken. Pork too. With beans so glad this was dinner and not lunch!

Great event with an estimated $1k raised for charity.

Found out about this late par usual. If this happens again I know I'll try to make it.
