Hey guys my friends and I are going to be doing a custom campaign and we all are making characters to lead our armies, and I was wondering if you guys think this is balanced.
Manuz Gobsnaga………………. 180 points
WS BS S T W I A Ld Sv
6 2 5 5 3 4 4(5) 9 4+
Unit Type: Unique Infantry
Equipment: Da Gobsnaga, Shoota with Kombi-Skorcha, Choppa, ‘Eavy Armor, Trophy Rack, Mega Gob, Attack Squig
Da Gobsnaga: This is Manuz’ personally crafted Big Choppa, it has the following profile:
Da Gobsnaga: Range: - Strength: User +2 AP: 5 Special: Shred, Rending, Two Handed, Melee
Mega Gob: Manuz knows that he is the meanest and toughest ork in his Waaagh! So he has to wear the biggest Iron Gob. His Gob has stopped a Lascannon shot and a direct hit from the tusk of a Gargantuan Squiggoth, and both times it stayed intact. The Mega Gob gives Manuz a 4+ Invulnerable save.
Trophy Rack: Manuz Gobsnaga has defeated many foes who have challenged him, and he has collected a trophy from them every time, leading to him having a very impressive trophy rack filled with trophies from Space Marines, Humans, Eldar, and even other Orks. Orks from his Waaagh! become inspired when they see this. Any allied ork within LoS to Manuz Gobsnaga gains +1 Leadership (Or acts as if there is one more boy for the purpose of Mob Rule.) The Trophy Rack also counts as a Bosspole.
Special Rules: Waaagh!, Mob Rule, Furious Charge, Independent Character, Gobsnaga
Gobsnaga: Manuz got his title through decades of warfare with other races and even fellow orks. He has never declined a challenge from an opponent, no matter what the circumstance is. When Manuz is in a combat and his unit has been challenged, he must accept the challenge. If Manuz wins, his unit he is with and himself gain the Fearless USR for the remainder of the game.

He doesnt seem too bad or too good . Few comments drop his choppa why does he need a big choppa and a choppa, same can be said about 'evy armour and mega gob why does he need two 4+?Also his boss pole seems a little weak since boys are more then likely fearless anyways and if he kills someone he becomes fearless it really only effects nobs. Another way you can treat it is similar to imotehk's humiliating defeat, where he deals an extra D3 combat res or it give his unit rage ,which would be pretty crazy in a slugga squad.

if you compare a similarly equipped warboss for 105pt
you only gain rending,shred (almost useless since you wound almost everything on a 2) and a better save

is a 4++ ,rending,and a mediocre special rule worth the extra 75pts?

personally i think making him give a unit rage would be the best way to snag some gobs

Well I just gave him a bosspole because he is a boss, so it kind of goes together. And I do like your idea about rage instead of fearless, I will definately be changing that.

Im not saying he shouldn't have a bosspole . I was just saying the +1 ld bosspole doesnt seem to be that useful ,Although he would make grots a bit better being ld8 instead of 7
