Does anyone know when the Dark Angels changed from their original Legion colours of black to Green? Was it straight after the heresy, couple of years/centuries after? I don't have much interest in using the current colour scheme, more interested in the Legion colours but not pre-heresy hence the interest. Any help would be appreciated.

IIRC it was during the Heresy.

The old Rogue Trader black Dark Angels had a different sort of feel to them. Actually, 40k in general was different then. The black armour was just a shoe-horning of the old paint scheme into the background where it was just a colour change in studio.

It also doesn't make sense as the Rogue Trader Dark Angels in black were in modern 40k, not during the heresy period.

Any idea when post-heresy. That I knew it was just when.
