When you look at it, all the races that have contact with the warp end up getting screwed by it. For the humans its the endless hordes of chaos that constantly invade the imperium and the Eldar got pretty much wiped out due to them being a potent psykick race.

Then you get the orks, and their gods, Gork and Mork. I've been looking everywhere I can think of and I can't find an instance where they decided to send their armies to invade realspace. They also don't seem to share the same hatred of their race with all the other gods.

If the orks can literally alter reality through their collective psicick ability then it stands to reason that Gork and Mork would be the most powerful of the chaos entities by far, especially when you consider the orks outnumber every other race in 40k.It seems that either Gork or Mork should be able to kick Khorne's teeth in, and yet they very rarely interact with the other gods. This strikes me as very strange when you think about how the gods of the orks should behave. They should be wrecking all the other gods in the name of krumping.

Yet they have minimal fluff compared to the other chaos gods, and aren't even seen as being on the same level of the other gods. People talk about the 4 chaos gods, not the 6. They don't seem to have major demons or units like the others do.

So what I'm asking is why Gork and Mork are so ignored in the 40k universe?

Our Gods love us. Orks have the proper relationship with their immortal gods. It is said gork is brutal but cunning and mork is cunning yet brutal they are just analogies for the ork mind state, same as all warp entities within 40k. The thing is orks want to kill each other to look for a good fight not out of spite or anything like that.

Same with Gork n Mork they might ocassionally attack one another jus tto remember a good fight is but ultimately chaos is the minorest problems orks face. In the Ork Codex an eldar farseer complains about how everyone passes the orks off as primative but they have ultimately won the hardest battle, and that is to survive and not be tainted by chaos. They don't bicker for leadership they kill for fun and that s it.

You see orks want a challenge. So do there gods. Chaos and the Emperor of mankind dont provde that. They only beat on them when they get in the way. The reason they dont have demons is cause they really dont have need of them. Orks are their demons pretty much. I still want to see a ork demon but oh well.

Also they have to keep an eye on everything the orks do. Pretty hard for regular entities but these are ork entities sooo Gork probably isnt that smart.

orkz are da best!!!

We had a fun conversation about this here...

Pretty much it was agreed that Gork and Mork are the big boys of the 40K gods, but don't actually do to much because then there wouldn't be anyone left to play with.

Many cases of weirdboyz becoming possessed by demons do happen but ork society has the whole "inquisition" idea down to Weirdboy act strange.... slugga to the back of the head or power klaw to the front of the everything
