Hello and thank you for taking a Look at my question thread. So night lords question, i know that some of them get there gauntlets painted a dark red color. I was hoping that someone could go into greater detail as to why. From what i understand they are given to NL's who fail in some extreme way and instead of death they are marked in red to show there shame and at some point in time if given the order of death from there master, they will follow it without question. Am i close? also i thought they where called something specific, i want to say forsaken? but do not recall.

Thank you and have a wonderful Night.

In the NL series Uzas is forced by Talos to paint his gauntlets red to symbolize that his death is coming at some point in time. Whether it be from dying in battle or by his brother's executing blade.

Its an old hive ganger tradition from Nostromo i believe, the tradition is to tattoo the hands sinners red to symbolize a condemned member.

Who like you mentioned will die at their master's command in battle, or be executed after no further use is seen for them.

It was a Nostramo tradition. Gangers would hve their hands tatooed red if the had displeased the boss and then they would go on with their duties, and the boss would kill them when he saw fit. It was sort of like a warning
