I went to a 3 games tournament on Sat Sep 8th. Ill do my 1st and 2nd game briefly because I really want to write about my 3rd game of the day. There was 10 players total with 5 of them being orks.

Mission: One Objective each
He shot up my razors but rolled 1's and 2's on pen chart going 1st. On my turn 1 Rolled fortification on my Gk Razor got perils and took off the last hull point for wreck and giving him 1st blood. Once I started to focus my fire, his units went down. First the bikes then the termie squads. then the tacts and assault squad. While I lost all but one Razor. On turn 5 I had my objective and I shot his tactical squad off of his. He had his Da Hq, 1 dev sarge, and DA tac squad but away from his obj. It ended up going to turn 7 where he moved on to his obj, but I won due to kill the warlord, and linebreaker. 5 VPs to 4 Vps.
Win for me 15pts plus 2 bonus pts = 17 Battle Points

He went 1st. Shot up a Razor and Fuegan and Icarus Lascannon got 1st Kill. Game Lasted 3 slow turns. I shot the ork boyz squad #1 down to 4 and it ran off the board after failing morale check. I shot a lootas squad way in the back and it also ran off the board. i killed his Big Mek Warlord with a lascannon shot after it failed its cover save. I assaulted and ate up his other boyz squad. On last turn 3 his flyers came in and didnt do much. On my turn 3 i shot them but only put 2 hull pts on one while also getting linebreaker giving me 6 Vps. He destroyed 3 Razors and killed off my 2 strike squads with 1st blood it also gave him 6 Vps and we tied. I tie 10 pts plus 2 bonus = 12 battle pts
now im at 29 Bps.

Ok this is the game I want to talk about because I still dont get why. I go to tournaments because I enjoy the game, i like challenging games and I barely have a chance to get games in. A tournament gives me 3 challenging games to play all in one day plus i get to check out cool new armies. I drove 1 hour to this store for my 1st time there. Should I feel bad for still being sour about this?

I deploy Dawn of War Left to Right. Rifleman on far left edge. Strike squad in middle wih both grey knight razors behind. Rifleman behind gk razors. 2nd strike squad on my objective on a ruin on right side. 3rd dread in front of strikes. Then 2 Ba razors. A terrain piece and 2 other razors.

He Deploys left to right on the 12 " line. Assault Squad, tactical squad on hill, terminator squad in rolls of 4 and dreadnought with no cover. Drop Pods in reserve.
He rolls for seize and doesnt get it. I go 1st. Mission is one objective each.
Turn 1 I roll for warp quake on both strike squads and pass. I move strikes #1 up and to the left. GK razors follow behind. Blood Angel razors move up 12 inches. Dread shoots and kills 2 assault marines on the left. Dreads and #1 strikes kill 3 terminators. lascannon shots from las plas immobolize his tllas dread in his deployment zone.

Furioso Dread Drop Pod comes in behind 2 BA razorsaway from warp quake range. Frag cannon and heavy flamer take a few hull points off from Razor. Terminators move up 6in and shoot strikes off the board with cyclones getting 1st blood. Assault squad moves up 12 inches. Dread shoots lascannon but does nothing to my razor.
My turn 2
I get warp quake off again. 1 BA razor goes after his furioso and explode it with a lascannon shot. Grey knight and BA razors get in front of his termies and with two dreads help kill off the termie priest and 2 regular termies and 2 cyclone termies leaving squad with 4 left. Strikes #2 shoot off the dread pod. Left corner dread shoots at the assault squad killing 3 leaving the squad at 50 %.

And right when Im done with my turn and his turn 2 starts he forfeits the match. I asked "are you sure?" and he says yes, which then gave me full battle points= 18pts. he said I had a hardcore tournament list, that more than half his army was gone and that there was no point in continuing. After two turns it was over.
