Hi,

Me, not so young anymore 40K Eldar, Necron player. Just purchased some DE to ally with my Eldar. My son, 8 year old 40K Necron player. Also have a small Space marine force and a smaller Orc force. Slightly extended from the AoBR set we started off with.

And an 11 yr old lad that lives a couple of doors down the street has joined us. He has only just started to learn so hasn't decided on army etc and is borrowing our SM's.

Have mainly been playing games Sunday Mornings at GW (plus also managed a couple of Thurday evenings). But over the last few months things have been changing and playing friendly games has been getting more difficult, if not near impossible now. Plus the players of my lads age that used to go down week in week out have all drifted off for various reasons.

I have found a group of mature players near by that I can go have occational games with, but that doesn't involve my lad greatly. And to be honest I wanted this to be something that I could do with him as well.

I am hoping that we can find some more players and was thinking of possibly starting a small gaming group, hopefully with a mix of players around my lads age group and older players that are OK with less mature players. Parent/child gamers like ourselves would be perfect.

We have game boards a few buildings (still in need of a bit of paint, but getting there) and the room to setup and host a game, so venue wise not a problem.

So:
Would you be interested in helping start or being part of a small 40K group?
Are you a parent/child gaming combo looking for games?
Are you a gamer that is looking for some games?
Initially looking at weekend games, kick off Saturday or Sunday morning and finish when they finish .. No hour time limit etc.

If you would drop me a message as I would be interested in seeing if its worth while trying to set up

Lee

You could try the Gravesend gamers guild.......whilst they are an over 18 club they may be able to help find players more your sons age.

Hope it helps.....
