So just decided to start getting into warmachine and hordes with legion of everblight. This is the list I plan to run:

Abyslonia

4x Shredders

Angelius

Carnivean

2x Forsaken

This is a tier 4 list and comes in at exactly 25 points.

I'm going to eventually add a Typhon and a Shepherd and drop a shredder for a 35 point list.

What do you think? Solid list? should I change anything? I really wanna get my lists down before I start buying and painting models. Thanks :]

That's pretty solid in my book. In fact, it's probably exactly what I would run were I to play at 25 points.

It might be worth considering changing out a Shredder for a Harrier so that Abby can ensure she hits at least once every turn. I typically don't run one, so if you do, let me know.

At 35 I might consider just adding a second Carnivean. At 50 I run 2x Carniveans, Typhon, and an Angelius for heavies.

Another really solid option to bump you up to 35 is a Scythean and another Forsaken.

One of the main considerations in an Abby list is that all your Forsakens and Abby herself are Abominations, so anything that isn't Fearless (like your beasts) will have to test to see if they are scared anytime they are within 3 inches of them.

For that reason, I usually only have a Shepherd in an Abby list if it's babysitting something specific (like a Bolt Thrower, who is awesome, btw). I do realize WHY you would make the change, but I think one of these other options will be better for you than Typhon at 35. Definitely try him out at 50, though.

Thanks so much for the info! I'll probably take your advice and buy a Heavy Warbeast kit (and magnetize it) and an extra Forsaken instead of the Typhon and the Shepherd (I forgot about abomination!) so I can try out the second Carnivean and the Scythean and third Forsaken. Thanks for assuring me of my 25 pt list though. I'll probably try out a Harrier in the distant future :]

No problem! Abby is my favorite legion caster.

I just started legion as well. It seems like Abyslonia is a popular choice for a warlock. Any other warlocks that are good for someone starting out? I have just the "legion starter set" and the stock warlock that comes in that, with the Carnivean, and 4x Shredders.
