Hey everyone, I tried posting this in general discussion but no one responded.

I am just starting out with hordes and I am playing circle. My girlfriend has spotted the trolls and loves the models. My dilema is, I want to get her a warlock to start painting however I am not totally through reading the rules beyond the basics. Im looking for suggestions on a useful warlock to start with for 15 pts that can expand to 35. We want to build up a few models over time and add in as we learn. Im not a fan of the starter kits and also cant dish out that much all at once, so we need to do 1 at a time.

any info or suggestions are welcome.

Not sure about Trollbloods casters as I dont play with or against them (haven't yet anyway).

The thing with casters is they set the tone of the rest of the army.

I'd check out battle college and read up on the different casters, see what she likes aesthetically and it gives a good general run down on abilities and tactics.

Have her look at all of the warlock models and choose the one she likes the best. Once that happens, then you can build a force that works well with that caster.

Get Jenissa no matter what else you choose. She's a baller.
