Subject: My Wife's First Game of Blood Bowl - Actual Match Report Featuring Dice Rolling Parrot. Seriously.
Played this game a week or two back. I'm lucky enough to be married to a cracking lass who loves RPG's. I've been trying to get her to play Blood Bowl for years. Finally, as the BB League I sponsor enters it's second season, I managed to persuade her to sit down and play a game.
This is what happened. And yes, a dice rolling Parrot took part in the game.
I have two Senegals, so I love seeing that pic! Does yours still have baby grey eyes, or is that the excited eye flashy/dilation game? They are such devilishly cute little birds...
Edit - I'm on a painful slow connection now so the link wasn't loading.... finally got it to come up. Great battle report! And I see that the Giant Bird is a newly spawned young'un.

@ Gymogyps: Yup, you're spot on. Just 14 weeks old when the photograph was take. He's not my parrot I'm afraid, but belongs to two members of the League, Adam and his wife Ronnie. Adam was a little unsure about having a parrot in the house but Ronnie was adamant and she soon talked him round. Now he dotes on the little guy. My wife's been dropping heavy hints that she'd like one too, but a bird that lives 30 odd years is a BIG responsibility.
