Hi guys, just wondering if someone could help me with a detailed description of the dress and gear of Deathguard legion serfs?
IIRC, there was a prominent DG serf, described in flight of the Eisenstein, but my 1 y o son has found the joy of stuffing things down the toilet, flushing and laughing, so my copy is unreadable.
Anyone feel like helping a poor parent out?

Assuming your referring to preheresy.
Could also have a look at Blood Reaver. Loyalists Serfs seem pretty well described there I think.
But if post heresy, do they even have serfs or does nurgles rot mean Death guard have to be more self sufficient?

I don't recall blood reaver having any good description of chapter serfs? Weren't they mostly described as being slaughtered by the NL?

Well, that's just part of the territory as a NL serf but that's not the entirety of the serf experience. The NL also let you work on armor and fly thunderhawks around and blow stuff up. I think that's worth the potential skinning you might have to suffer!
DG serfs: in the book they are rare. Garro has one because he's Olde Skool. No one else really has one. Maybe if the DG still had serfs there armor wouldn't be in such piss poor shape.

In blood reaver, it did give a bit of a blurb from the point of view of some of the serfs right before 'the end'.
Also some descriptions of them getting slaughtered. So between them it should give an idea of their duties.
