I happened to see this thread completely by accident. I live about 45 minutes from Mt. Pleasant at the moment, but I suppose with my wife's blessing I could make a trip to Greenville once a month to play (once I get my army assembled and painted).

I misread it as off Greenville, which is a street in Allen and got quite excited, but i will sure swing by if im heading east.

Well things have changed, in Downtown Greenville, Texas ..... I'm still a Games-Workshop Stockist .... and I am listed in the White Drawf Mag under Stockist in Greenville,Texas with Shop Address. I have tried to get a Gaming Space setup I now have one 6' X 4' table ... I could do more, but there wouldn't be room for Hobby Supplies, My best Customer, has gone elsewhere, I'll miss him, but I've picked up some new ones. This gaming stuff is like real war, You can never really tell who's on your side, Games-Workshop is on my side, and I can get most orders in 3 Days. I stock GW Module 1. I also have a paint rack that I'm trying to get stocked, I have One Game Table Set up at the shop. Now Serveral Gamers have offered Help with the Shop, But that never happened, unless you count one very sleepy texting one who came by for about 5 hours & helped me move the bigger stuff to the back room (I did most of the work myself). Hey I'm a old guy who is new to this, some say I've mis-represented myself and my Hobby Shop. Well I didn't intend to, I'm on Social Security now, I do have a Ultramarine & Ork army in the painting and assembly stages. I also am working on the Realm of battle Bulidings, There is lots of rearranging to do to get a additional table in my small space. Still haven't had a throw down on the Battle field ....

My Hobby Shop, started as a Model Railroad, Model Cars & Model Airplanes, Things I grew up doing, I wanted to run a Hobby Shop in My Hometown of Greenville, I started out at the 114 yr old Historic Katy Depot, ( Man If I still have that Place, about 40,000 Sq ft of Gaming/Hobby space ) I took in a business partner, because I believed him to be a good person, I'm not a very good judge of Character turns out, well I re-established My Shop in a 'ol resale shop building, that closed and now I've landed at The Uptown Forum on Lee St. (Main Drag) I have a small Shop space, I'm the Owner & the Laborer, Lots to do to get this going, and I've found out Lots to learn, like I say I'm new to this, I want to learn, and It maybe hard to be a Store Owner & A Player. From October - January Sales were pretty good, with the recent change in the gaming Forum that I was a part of, Well Guess You could say I'm a outcast.

Hey All I wanted to do was Run a Hobby Shop, where Folks could come talk about hobbies, buy Hobby supplies, I miss the old days, when I was a child, I hung out at the Hobby shop, built models, (never was very good at it, OOB mostly,) Now my Cliental is small, and just got alittle smaller, so income funds don't match the outgo expenses. Still the My Hobby Shop/Gameshop is a viaible Business. I don't have any plans of closing down soon, now if I could just learn this Wargaming stuff ....... I'm getting my Ultramarine's ready for battle ..... I have Ver. 6 Rule book now, I started with a Black Reach Set of SM & Orks ..... I've added a Razorback & Preditor to their side, the orks have some additional Ork Boyz's to there side thinking on getting them a war wagon next. Hey still lots of work to do, I had some space for extended battle-zone, that Resturant closed & the new one is open ..... I have inquired about renting thier extra room for a Game night but new owners haven't made up thier minds on that.

My spirits were lifted Saturday as one young man came in very excited about Find the Games-workshop, WH40K, looked at my painted ones, & said "I could never paint that good" I responded I'll teach You.
