Hello everyone.
Games Workshop have only just released this on their website.


This is purely speculation (and a considerable amount of hope) at this point but could this possibly be hinting towards a future Game Workshop movie?
I know about the Inquisitor movie and how it has been sanctioned by Game workshop but is it possible that they have been lured toward the movie industry with all the attention Inquisitor has revived.

I doubt it, as the WD mini's have been less about the White Dwarf standing there scowling and been more silly as time went on. He was a pirate, pilot and astronaut before this one.

He looks like Peter Jackson. And there's a runic looking H on the film roll. I believe this is due to the Hobbit film later this year and GW still having the license for Tolkien inspired Wargames.

I didn't know Peter Jackson dressed like a 30's director.

Yeah if it was to hint at anything it would probably be the hobbit movie/model line next month, especially with that 'H' on the camera.

I think that Dwarven rune has been around for ages now, plus the description in the WD describes it as an ancestor rune.

It's 100% a nod to the hobbit film, you may have also noticed the photo of one of the dwarves from the hobbit film in the white dwarf as well.

I like this model, it's fun. We need more fun stuff from GW that isn't just totally dark :p

Anyway, yeah, I suspect it's merely to tie into the Hobbit game.

Where does a dwarf get size 18 wingtips and a pair of 38x 24 pants!

That makes sense. Tolkein is Warhammer's ancestor, after all.
