This may sound out there but...

I have seen a few posts about people wanting to develop there own Miniature games.

Now before I continue I know that there are places such as The Miniature Page, Board Game Geek, etc.
I just prefer Dakka Dakka.

Would this be possible for Dakka Dakka to get a Development Section for Miniatures games?

If so how do we go about it?

Not any kind of decision maker here, but from observing the creation of several new sub-forums I have noticed this:

DakkaDakka frowns on fracturing and splitting traffic. Most of the people here feel that having a section that includes more subject but gets more traffic is better than having a section that is more specific but gets less traffic. Splintering of forums created dead spaces and a lot of the conversations here are often by people that would have never seen a thread if it was stuck in a dedicated sub-forum.

So the first step is to prove that the traffic is there. Part of that would be to decide that one of the already existing sub-forums will be the new home of the Developers. Most likely this is not something that will be enforced of pushed by Yak or Lego, but it will have to be something that is community driven. If you guys decide to use Dakka Discussion then you need to start posting there, and if you notice somebody else creating a thread that fits the developer theme in another spot then you encourage them to bring it to the same thread. Consolidate all relevant threads into one location so that they can see that the traffic is there. I don't know what current sub-forum would be best for this, but I think Dakka Discussions would probably fit well.

@d-usa - I have seen some of these in general dakka discussions. So I guess that is where I should post mine.

Unless you can fit it into a more specific section, that's probably the best one.
