So my gaming group is planning on doing a Horus heresy campaign using the forgeworld book and I was chosen to be the organizer. For people that have read Betrayel you know that there is only 4 legions represented and several people have asked me if they can run legions not represented and if i could come up with rules to represent them. I have no problem doing this for other people but I myself plan on running a White scars Legion list. I don't feel right making rules for myself so I'm coming to the community to ask for suggestions.

I have a very fun 40k list that uses a bike command squad, 4 full 10 man bike squads and 3 attack bike squads. I am going to be reorganizing it to use the 30k codex for this campaign. Does anyone think that a white scars legion rule that makes me take bike fast attack choices as troops would be too strong? Any other suggestions for either special rules or weapon choices would be appreciated.

I don't know anything about the new Forgeworld book. But seeing as though the fluff says the White Scars all had jetbikes it stands to reason they would be more than standard. I have a fandex under one of my threads if your interested in thinking of some extra rules.

Thank you for the fandex you made that gave me some ideas. The biggest issue is 30k bikes have marine statline and scout. So i'm a little worried that a entire army on bikes that all scout move into range would be a little strong.

Hmm, your still vulnerable because of large model size and low model count. Doesn't seem overly powerful.
