After much research I have finaly come up with a list I think will work.

The only thing i'm wondering is should I add some range support or not. And what to spend the extra pts on.

I'd look at a tarpit unit. like WGDS. Something that can get into a zone and hold it.

May some iron fangs? there good at taking down jacks

drop eiryss and get yuri. you'll get more use out of him, and he doesnt break faction.

Faction purity doesn't really matter in my mind. Especially when Sorsha can freeze the enemy warcaster and let Eiryss shoot with a disruption bolt. No focus next turn equals jacks and warcaster doing nothing whilst you deal with the rest of the army. Easy win.

Never understood the "faction purity" thing. Mercs add fun combos and abilities otherwise not seen in an army. It's fun and all sides can use them.

I tend to not use mercs, I don't mind them but I like fielding a full khador, menoth or whatever force

eiryss can disrupt, but getting her in position can be hard depending on how good your opponent is. also, most khador buffs are in faction only.

I don't disagree about it being hard to get the disruption bolt off but the potential is there and that's all you need to effect the enemies plans. And as for the faction buffs, you're right about most of Khador but with Sorscha1 this doesn't apply:

Boundless Charge - Friendly
Fog of War - Everybody
Freezing Grip - Offensive
Razor Wind - Offensive
Tempest - Offensive
Wind Rush - Self
Feat - Enemy

Nothing friendly faction there.

true sorcha is pretty good with mercs, and eiryss is a good model, but she's also a huge target in smaller games for most opponents. its all preference i suppose.
