Just north of the Stirland city Wurtbad lays the prosperous Talabecland city of merchants. Or Adela as its formally known, meaning Noble. Adela is not a city state but it is governed by an incredibly rich and fair duke named Alexander
De Franko, this is his legacy.
Duke Alexander was born in the Reikland city of Gruunburg to the Noble
De Franko banking family. His father Nicolai
De Franko, paid very well for his education and worked hard to teach him the arts of banking and building personal wealth. At the age of 18 Alexander was sent to the renowned Pistolkorps in Altdorf, as his fathers father had done to him and his father before and so on, it was a family tradition that Alexander was more than happy to uphold. Little did he know that he would soon rise to greatness, and by his 23rd year he had reached the rank of captain. He was actively taking part in battles and skirmishes all over and was still to lose a fight when grave news of his father had reached him on his 32nd birthday. He formally resigned from the state army and returned home to grieve. Nicolai left his only son everything he had, his wealth his home and his business. After pondering for a good year what to do next in life, Alexander made a decision that would change his life. He left his home town with his mother and made tracks for the famous city of merchants to expand his fathers banking empire.
