Depends what you want to do with it i suppose. The Gallery is a good place to start so that the images are available to anyone who cares to browse.

Otherwise, If you are doing the work yourself/still in progress/doing more all the time and want to show it off, then i suppose you could start a thread in P&Ms (i know its not models or even scenery, but its still hobby-related and original content ), or one in the Showcase if it is finished.

The 'General Discussion' forums are also another place you could post fan pics, but wouldnt necessarily be the place either.

Sorry i couldnt be more help, art isnt something that pops up that often afaik (daedalus-templarius Is another artist who does fan art, maybe ask him/her?)
