I'm using Dragon red for my blood ravens army and want to add highlights, hows best for this? is it a case of just adding white to the red or would the pure red be good for highlighting?

sames question for the bone and black shoulder details.

Thanks

I don't advise adding white to reds to lighten them. They always end up looking too pink-ish in my opinion.

Pure red would like fine on Dragon Red if you use it sparingly as extreme highlights. A mix of Dragon and Pure Red may suit you better. A different route would be to mix a light brown (e.g. Snakebite leather) to Dragon Red to get a warmer highlight color.

perfect thanks for that, my worry was it turning pink. the mixing brown with the dragon blood seems a good route to me as I like subtle

Yep as you say, don't just add white. Youtube colour wheel to see how to mix colours for shading and highlights, it helps a lot.
