Hello. I'm not entirely sure where this fits, so if it should be moved, let me know.

I'm trying to figure out who the Dark Angels would be willing to work with (rather than work around or simply use). The ultimate goal of this question is to identify a good army to use as allies for my Deathwing, but I'm totally interested in any ideas anyone has about this topic.

An idea I came across recently is that, since they share a yearning for forgiveness, the Dark Angels might be willing to work with the Death Korps of Krieg. This seems particularly likely to me because of the impressive obedience shown by the Death Korps and the fact that, if the troopers learned something they shouldn't, they would be willing to make a heroic last stand with inevitably fatal results.

With these ideas in mind, would the Dark Angels be more than usually willing to ally with a detachment of Death Korps, and if not, who would the Unforgiven be willing to ally with.

Dark Angels did work with Death Korps of Krieg during Siege of Vraks. They even send one of their successor chapters after Imperial Command requested help again, this shows how tey respect them. ( Actually the main reason was Alpha Legion leader who seemed to know something about the Fallen, but they could usually just storm the place and attack him directly - but they help the Kriegsmen out and then secure him )

OT, even giving their nature Dark Angels would work with anyone - except Inquisition ( they would be desperate allies because neither loves one another). Out of all chapters they have biggest bong with Space Wolves, ever singe "Lion and the Wolf" incident. And of course - every Imperial Organization just love IG, all want to work with IG.

Krieg, definately. as for others, probably somewhat get along with catachans since the catachans wouldnt be asking questions about why as much as how. possibly chapters that tend to keep to themselves more and don't have one of those "holier then thou" attitudes towards other space marines. Basically i think anyone who wouldn't be asking questions they would get along with.
