Grey Knights with HALBERDS! Do grey knights have to pass a psychic test in order for their force weapons bonus to be activated? Or is the bonus always active? So if a GK takes a Halberd, does this mean he will strike at I6 all the time or does he have to pass a psychic test in order to get the I6 bonus?

Can GKs use Hammerhand with their force weps? you can only use 1 power per turn, HOWEVER activating force weapons isn't detailed in the codex as a power which means GK just choose between Hammerhand and Warp quake each turn.

Do GKs with halberds gain an addition attack for having an additional weapon? Or is that bonus just for Falchions?

1. GK always have to take a psychic test to activate their force weapons instant death ability. This means that a regular unit of GK Strikers have to choose between casting hammerhand or activating their force weapons. This has nothing to do with the fact that halberds grant a +2 initiative. This is another special rule given by the weapon and is completely separate from it being able to deal instant death.

2. GK Strike Squads and similar GK infantry can only cast one power a turn. Hammerhand, Warp Quake, or activating force weapons.

3. No, there is no reason at all that a halberd would give an additional attack in CC.

These answers are all very plainly detailed in the BRB and your codex.

There aren't really any strategies or rumors in this thread, just rules questions. This should be in a different forum and have a less misleading title
