I am looking for one of these two to lead my World Eaters army, I love both models but only have the points for one (plus Khorne is not the god of sharing). The points difference is only 25 and not an issue, both have exactly the same stats
Kharn has a plasma pistol for ranged attacks, Zhufor has an assault 3 bolter.
Both have furious charge, but Zhufors Terminator armour restrict sweeping advance etc...but has one higher save.
Kharn is pretty much immune to psychic whilst Zhufor is eternal.
Zhufor can either use his powerfist or 6 s5 ap4 attacks.
Kharn always hits on a 2+, has 4 s6 ap2 attacks (but can kill his mates).
Which would you choose?

Khârn is the only one that, by RAW, allows you to take Khorne Berzerkers as troops. If your group is likely to not let Zhufor do the same and the lack of Berzerkers will hurt the army theme, going with Khârn would be the better option.

If Zhufor has EW or T5, him. Otherwise Kharn!
Never mind, you said EW, so Zhufor FTW (though I personally like Kharn better for the nostalgia).

If you ask your group beforehand then they might okay it (I don't personally see the problem, especially since it's A) for a themed army and B) only dealing with a unit widely thought to be a sub-par choice anyway), but Khârn would be the safer bet if you're not sure.

Unless you regularly field Forgeworld units with your friends personally I would go Kharn. He is better in some respects anyway, but the fact he is Forgeworld puts me off him (whether rightly or wrongly).

Kharn goes down to shooting stupidly easily, hotshot lasguns make a joke of all his skills.
Personally, I already assumed Zhufor unlocked Zerkers as troops, so that's no issue.
So Zhufor it is.

He's not a Lord with Mark of Khorne rules-wise. He's a Zhufor the Impaler. Khârn has a special rule letting him make Berzerkers troops.
