Hey everyone, I'm hoping to do some brainstorming in this thread regarding alternate figs and proxies for chaos. I'm putting together a CSM force, the only problem is a really, really, REALLY hate the modern games workshop marine design. (Beakies were ok in the day, but the ridonkulous Liefeldian post-heresy designs would make me feel like a 14 year old dork fielding them, no matter how many spikes I glue on.)

To give some idea of what I'm looking for, I just picked up a box of Greatcoats Shocktroops, they make great plague marines. I'm trying to find models like those, which are...
*Somewhat cost-efficient.
*Have something of a "scifi soldier" look to them so I'm not using a deceptive proxy.
*Have unique/sinister look to fit either a specific chaos theme, or just chaos in general.

I'm also looking for some feminine armored types also going to expand my gender-swapped Slaneesh marines. After reading this thread I'm leaning towards Meow Meow torsos, but I'm open to less bulky options.

(FYI; Sorry if I missed another thread on this, I searched back a few months and if there's another I'd greatly appreciate a link. Also I'm aware of the GW modding rules. My venue allows proxies, so please don't stray OT. Thanks to all in advance)

I notice my posts seem to bring threads to a screeching halt. Considering the content of most threads on dakka, you're welcome.
