So, here's what I got for Christmas (two days late but what the hey, right?). I ordered the stuff below as part of MiniatureMarket's black friday sale so I got some pretty nice deals.

First up is the stuff I've wanted most. The Ten Thunders Rail Crew and some support elements.

Next is the Ten Thunders "The Thunder" boxs and support for The Guild. Miss Terious isn't pictured. I think I tossed the box a while back but she'll be part of the crew.

All in all, it looks pretty impressive, right? Maybe a little less so when you see the sprues all stacked together (and Miss Terious in her little baggie).

Still, I think I'm definately going to have a blast with this stuff - especially with Willy running amok.

Sadly I found out something a little too late. Apparently Izamu is NOT dual faction. Are you kidding me? WHAT THE HELL, MAN?

So, tell me, would anyone have a problem if I took Izamu as part of a "pure" Ten Thunders lineup? I don't know if I will or not and I'm not expecting to be involved in tournament play but I thought I'd ask. Man, I can't believe that. Of all the things to not make dual faction... grrrrr...

Not picture is a small stack of O-gauge railroad track that I'll be using as basing material for the Rail Crew. I've not decided what to use for The Guild yet. I might just use dirt and try to make some sort of desert motif. Or I could see if I could do something else in a Western like vein.

Does anyone know if Wyrd plans on releasing their basing toppers in plastic (or resin)?

Anyway, what did you guys find under your tree this year?

Base Inserts aren't going to come out in plastic or resin, as it stands right now, which I'm okay with, since the base inserts give the plastic models a bit of heft, and keeps some balance to them (I know my beckoners appreciate them lol

I don't think anyone would have much issue if they knew you, Izamu is a beast of a minion though, and those tend to stay mono faction. Hard to Wound 2 and Object 2 are crazy good together, especially when combined with some of the totems in the Ressers faction (i.e. giving him Spirit). Which means that any attack of 7 or less would only deal 1 point of damage. Spirit halving all damage, Hard to Wound forcing negative twists, and then Object reducing damage.

I didn't find any Malifaux under the tree lol, but that's okay

And don't forget, Yan Lo can take Izamu as part of a Ten Thunders Crew... just have to wait until Feb. for Yan Lo's box set!

I thought there was a way to get him into a 10T crew!

Breotan, you could use Yan Lo and Misaki in a Brawl and take Izamu legally if you wanted to, but like I said earlier, I don't think your local play group would mind too much... it s a bamf piece of armor lol

Coolness! I've got Willie and the Archers assembled. The Riflemen are next, followed by the Rail Crew and The Thunder. I'll post pics once I have everything set up.

I'm still working out how I want the Rail Crew bases to look.
